Centennial High School offers COLLEGE ENGLISH, through Georgia State University, on the Centennial campus.  Students who wish to participate in the College English course should have the following:

• SUBMITTED CONTACT FORM
• ​SUBMITTED FCS DUAL ENROLLMENT CONTRACT 
• SUBMITTED GSU DUAL ENROLLMENT APPLICATION (COMPLETE WITH ACT/SAT/ACCUPLACER SCORES)
• SUBMITTED TRANSCRIPT
• SUBMITTED GSU SPA FORM & FUNDING APPLICATION *the SPA form is subsumed within the funding application*

Please make note of the following:

1. When completing the GSU Dual Enrollment application, students should select the ALPHARETTA campus.
2. To exempt the Fall College English semester (ENGL 1101), students must forward OFFICIAL AP test scores to GSU.  Processing of AP test scores may take up to 6-weeks.
3. All forms and applications should be submitted by MARCH 31, 2026 for Fall 2026 class participation.
4. The College English course starts at 8:00 AM, meeting twice per week.  
5. Students are expected to be OFF-CAMPUS when the College English course is not in session.

In order to meet the MARCH 31, 2024 deadline,  your SAT/ACT/ACCUPLACER scores must be available by     March 31, 2024. SAT and ACT scores are typically available 30 days after the test administration date.
