What is the Dual Achievement program? The Dual Achievement Program (established by SB204) offers qualified students a recognized and alternate path to high school graduation. Students choose to simultaneously earn a high school diploma and two (2) technical certificates of credit, a technical diploma, or a college associate degree in a specific career pathway in order to meet high school graduation requirements. Interested students should contact the DAP program coordinators from their TCSG school of interest, and should inform their CHS counselor of their intentions.
What type of student does the Dual Achievement Program help? Dual Achievement serves ambitious and self-motivated students who are seeking a learning environment that is different from the traditional high school environment. Dual Achievement is ideal for focused students who are working to complete their high school course requirements while earning college credentials to prepare them for in-demand careers.
What is the age requirement? Students must be between the ages of 16 to 21 years of age. What is the residency requirement for DAP? You must be a Georgia resident who has lived in GA for 12 months to be eligible for DAP.
